Mike designed this drum as a modern snare with a vintage vibe both in terms of looks and sound. The drum is a ten ply blend of alternating two plies of Mahogany and Gum. Black Pearl exterior, and Relic Hardware create the visual aesthetics of the snare, and at 6.5 x 14, it is a balanced blend of crisp articulation and raw woody tones with good volume.
